I can't believe Christmas is over! This month seems to have gone by in a blur. Christmas this year was a little different around here since we moved earlier this year. And truthfully Christmas morning was a little rough, since we were in a huge hurry to open presents and then leave for an overnight trip with family. But we made it and learned a lot about what we won't be doing next Christmas! But even though Christmas didn't go exactly like I had planned, it was still a fun day with a lot of fun memories made.
Since we had Christmas Eve Church, the kids didn't get to bed until about nine thirty Saturday night, so Erik and I had to wake them up so they could open presents! I didn't think that would happen, lol! It was hilarious when they woke up too, because they kept saying the presents under the tree were for Jesus, and didn't know if they were allowed to open them!
I think Max was the only one who was really alert while we were opening presents....
Doesn't Lily look precious with her sleepy face? Or am I just a proud mama?:)
Technically I bought the princess dress for Anna the day after Halloween, but when Lily saw Anna open the box she sort of tackled Anna for the dress. Anna was a good sport about it, though, she was more interested in her books anyway. :)
I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!
