This Moment

Do you ever have those days where you wish you could just capture time in a bottle? Tonight I had one of those moments. It was just an ordinary night with the kids laughing, having sword fights with Erik, and practicing their crazy gymnastics skills. But it was special. It was a sweet reminder that even though these days seem very long and drawn out, there are some very special moments that come with this crazy season of life I'm in. There's so much I want to remember!

I love watching how Lily tries so hard to be like Anna, and how Anna nurtures Lily like she's her little mommy.

Max is very into hats right now, and cracks himself up every time he puts one one.

These days are filled with cuddles, cute sayings, kisses, simple prayers, and innocent questions. Of course they are also filled with diapers,  various bodily fluids, disobedience, and tantrums. And while I go to bed every night completely exhausted, I wouldn't trade this crazy season of life for anything.

  1. Hi Jessica, I'm a Blogger from Germany and I want to say, your Post about capture the time in an bottle, speaks also from my heart. I wish, my kids could be so cute like now...

  2. I feel the same way! I heard that these are our longest days but our shortest years. I like blogging to capture it all too!
Have a great week! (found u via WLW)

  3. I know everyone says to enjoy this season because it goes so fast and you just want to slap them because you can't wait for bedtime so you can have a moment to yourself. But it does. I have two teens now and it seems like a blink. Love the snapshot you gave of your life a mama of littles. It brought back memories for me. Nice to meet you through WLWW.

  4. This truly is a precious - albeit exhausting - time! :)

I love reading your comments, and I also love responding to them!
